The Fundamental Pneumatic Bollard Grips are affordable, 'horn-style' clamps designed to minimize stress concentrations on specimens and prevent clamp-induced failures. They are suitable for testing cordons, filaments, fibers, fine wires, and threads at temperatures ranging from -10C to 80C (14F to 176F). Probet slip is minimized via a pneumatic gripping mechanism, and gripping forces can be easily adjusted by regulating air supply pressure. These grips require a filtered, dry air source and a pneumatic controller for operation.
